Fall is a fantastic time to plant fruit trees!  The cooler temperatures and increased rainfall create ideal conditions for new trees to establish their root systems without the stress of summer heat. Additionally, planting in the fall gives trees a head start, allowing them to become well-rooted before the growing season begins in spring.  With proper care and attention, planting fruit trees in the fall can lead to bountiful harvests for years to come.
